Client Reference Guide
Your vinyl liner replacement typically takes approximately 3–5 days from start to finish. Here is what to expect at each stage:
1. Draining the Pool
Our crew will set up a sump pump and provide instructions on when to plug it in to begin draining. No action is needed on your part until you receive those instructions.
2. Liner Removal & Installation
The following day, our technicians will arrive to remove the existing liner, make any necessary floor repairs, and install the new vinyl liner.
Once in place, the pool begins filling while vacuums run behind the liner to set and shape the vinyl. A small piece of blue tape near the step area marks the required initial fill level.
Important Fill Instructions
- Vacuums must remain running continuously.
- The pool must be filled as instructed and to the indicated level.
Failure to follow these instructions may delay installation and could result in additional charges.
3. Second Fill
Once the initial fill level is reached:
- Vacuums are removed.
- The pool can then be filled to its normal operating level.
4. Cut-In & Start-Up
In the final phase, our technicians will:
- ● Install faceplates and lights (if equipped)
- ● Add start-up chemicals (if requested)
- ● Turn the system on and verify proper operation
