Weekly Pool Maintenance Service in the Pensacola, FL & Milton, FL Areas

Weekly pool maintenance involves testing water chemistry, skimming and brushing surfaces, and cleaning baskets to keep the water safe and clear. The three main steps are balancing chemistry, physical cleaning, and equipment checks.

Many pool owners lack the time and/or the expertise to perform these tasks consistently. But those in the Pensacola and Milton areas of Florida can rest easy knowing they have Pace Pool & Spa Service available. We have three different levels of service to perfectly meet all needs and budgets.

Weekly Maintenance FAQs

Preventive Maintenance Plans

  • What is a Preventative Maintenance Plan?

Our preventative maintenance plans are designed for homeowners who maintain their own pool but want professional oversight throughout the year. Think of us as your pool’s “check-up team.” We inspect, test, and evaluate your pool system to prevent small issues from turning into expensive repairs.

If you handle the chemicals and routine cleaning but want to make sure your equipment is operating correctly, this is for you.

  • Is this a weekly cleaning service?

No. These visits may be scheduled annually, bi-annually, or quarterly and are professional system inspections and performance optimization services. They are designed for homeowners who maintain their own pools but want expert oversight.

  • Will you balance my chemicals during the visit?

We test and provide professional recommendations. If adjustments are needed:

    • We can add chemicals during the visit (additional charge).
    • Another option is for us to advise you exactly what to add and how much.

We support whichever approach fits your comfort level.

  • What are the benefits of preventive maintenance?

    Preventive inspections help:

    • Catch failing equipment early
    • Avoid emergency repairs
    • Extend equipment lifespan
    • Prevent surface damage
    • Reduce chemical waste

Proactive maintenance is almost always less expensive than reactive repairs.

  • How long have you been in business?

Pace Pool & Spa Service was founded as a family business in 1999, and it is still a family-owned business today!

  • Are you licensed and insured?

Yes! Pace Pool & Spa Service is fully licensed and insured to perform professional pool maintenance and repair work in Florida. We follow industry standards and best practices to protect your property and investment. License# RP252554871

  • What makes Pace Pool & Spa Different?

We exist to bring peace of mind to your pool care. Our trained and continually educated technicians maintain your pool so you can enjoy it with confidence. We invest in professional development, transparent communication through our client portal, and long-term accountability as a locally owned business with a physical retail presence. We’re not just a service truck; we’re a trusted, established company committed to protecting your investment year-round.

  • How often do you service my pool?

We provide weekly professional maintenance to ensure proper sanitation, water balance, and equipment performance. Consistent service prevents algae growth, equipment damage, and costly repairs.

  • Do you bill weekly or monthly?

We bill weekly service monthly for consistency. Because the calendar includes several five-week months, those additional weeks provide flexibility for holidays or scheduling adjustments. This  structure ensures you still receive consistent annual care without billing fluctuations.

  • Why do chemical needs increase in summer?

Heat, rainfall, and swimmer activity significantly increase chlorine demand and affect pH balance. During peak Florida summer months, pools require more sanitizer to stay safe and clear. Cooler months typically require less adjustment.

  • Why is year-round service important?

Water chemistry should be maintained year-round to prevent algae, corrosion, deterioration of equipment systems and pool surfaces, and expensive repairs. As the eyes and ears of your pool, we monitor its condition weekly and provide qualified repair solutions to protect your investment 365 days a year.

  • Are repairs included?

While repair costs are not included in your monthly maintenance service, routine replacement parts under $50 (gaskets, baskets, pressure gauges, etc.) are replaced as needed and billed accordingly. Repairs over $50 are always discussed with you before work is completed.

  • Do you track service visits?

We do! We use LOU, an industry specific platform, to track visits. LOU also provides a client portal that allows you to see a history of visits, completed repair work, view and pay invoices, update payment information, and update communication preferences. We also use GPS tracking in our vehicles.

  • Will I always have the same person cleaning my pool each week?

We strive to keep consistent technicians on each route to build familiarity and trust. Occasionally, scheduling or staffing needs may require changes. Regardless of who services your pool, you can expect the same trained professionals and consistent standards of care.

Simplified Billing. Same Great Service.

Our weekly service is designed to make pool care easy with simple monthly billing, predictable costs, and convenient, reliable service you can count on.

Your Weekly Service Always Includes:

  • Weekly chlorine, salt, & pH testing
  • Monthly balancers (alkalinity, stabilizer, & calcium)
  • Skimming debris
  • Brushing & vacuuming as needed
  • Equipment maintenance (emptying baskets, backwashing, etc.)

Usage-Based Billing

Starting at $170/mo.

Monthly totals vary based on actual chemical usage. Summer months typically require more chemicals due to heat, rainfall, and swimmer activity, while cooler months require less.

  • Service rate remains consistent
  • Chemical charges fluctuate based on seasonal demand and rainfall
  • One-time spring algaecide fee applied annually

Flat-Rate Billing

Starting at $225/mo.

Your personalized flat rate is calculated based on comparable pools, in both size and location, to provide consistent, predictable pricing throughout the year.

  • Includes routine service and standard chemicals (within reason)
  • Eliminates seasonal billing fluctuations
  • Replaces the separate spring algaecide charge
  • Same rate each month for the full year

Additional charges may apply only in extenuating circumstances such as pool draining, stain treatments, or non-routine chemical applications.

Parts & Repairs

Routine replacement parts under $50 (gaskets, baskets, pressure gauges, etc.) will be replaced as needed and billed accordingly.

Any parts or repairs exceeding $50 will be discussed with you and require prior homeowner authorization before work is completed.
